March Virtual Fitness Events: Lucky Intervals, Mat-ness Brackets and Snackable Workouts!

March offers a buffed-up, movement-packed schedule of virtual fitness events! Check out the highlighted classes, mat-ness and forums or view the calendar below to see it all at a glance!

Group Fitness Highlights

  • One class ID for ALL fitness classes in March! Join Zoom Meeting, Meeting ID: 871 0198 7980, Pass code: Fitness21
  • Lucky Intervals Fitness Jam. Join the TC Fit team in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with leaping leprechauns, shamrock squats and more. This 45-minute class will feature cardio and strength training exercises using your body-weight. March 16th at 12pm CT.
  • Props! Grab your stability ball, stable chair, light dumbbells or canned goods and up your workout game during these select classes.
  • Music Matters, move to the music during these select classed which will feature up-beat music playlists and be broadcast for live participation only, no class recording.

March Mat-ness

  • Fitness Forum: Pilates! Pilates, it’s more than crunches and planks. Learn about Pilates principles and benefits as we demystify this popular fitness modality. What are 100’s and why are they so great? What aches and pains can Pilates help treat? What resources are available to help you get started from home? Bring your questions to this 25-minute, open forum event! Wednesday, March 10th at 12pm CT. Join the Teams Meeting.
  • Mat Pilates Class, Wednesdays at 10am. Join TC Fit trainer Kendall Palm for specialty formats this month:
  • Pilates Basics, March 17th: Brand new to Pilates? Learn how the breathing works, where your core is & how to engage it during this beginner level class. This class is also a great refresher if you haven't been to Pilates a while or you want to challenge your technique.
  • Mini Stability Ball/Bender Ball Prop, March 24th: This class will feature exercises using a Bender ball/mini fitness ball. The workout will aim to improve posture and strength by challenging your abdominal muscles.
  • Pilates Sculpt, March 31st: Bring your light hand weights or canned goods, 1-3 lbs. to this class. Expect a mix of classical Pilates exercises with props for extra sizzle. This inventive class will combine core, upper body and lower body work with light weights and higher reps to tone your entire body.

Fitness Forum: Snackable Workouts

  • Shorter, “snackable” workout bursts are all the rage, from TikTok to features in the New York Times. Join the TC Fit team as we discuss the latest quick-hit workout trends, what really works to achieve your fitness goals and tips to fun-size your home workout routines. Bring your questions to this 25-minute open forum event. Wednesday, March 23rd at 12pm CDT. Join the Teams meeting.
